Tom Dixon is a British designer specializing in furniture design and creative director of his own eponymous firm, whose work encompasses iconic pieces that have been exhibited in museums, galleries and fairs and is inspired by his country's unique heritage.
Born in Tunisia in 1959 to a British father and French mother, Dixon moved with his family to London, United Kingdom, when he was 4 years old. He abandoned his art studies to play bass with a band called Funkapolitan and discovered his affinity for industrial design by chance, after suffering a traffic accident and trying to repair his motorcycle on his own, which led him to discover and learn there the welder. in 1983.

A pair of mouth-blown wine glasses presented in gift-worthy packaging. Handmade in Poland, the set of glasses have a modern faded black finish, setting a mysterious and indulgent tone. This pair of Tank glasses take their sculptural cue from the functional shapes and volumes of scientific glassware. Featuring a hot-cut edge and an etched Tom Dixon logo.
Each glass is handmade and variations will occur between items. Colour may change over time due to the character of the material. Hand-wash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Not dishwasher safe. Do not use abrasive agents as this will damage the surface. Also available as Whiskey, Beer, Champagne, High Ball and Low Ball glasses. The collection also includes a Jug, Decanter and Whiskey Decanter, and is available in a copper finish.
